Notepad Virus - Help!

AVG has detected the following and advised not to move it to the Virus vault! "C:Win\System32\Notepad.EXE"
AVG says it will corrupt the system.....can anyone advise - Thanks

This virus renames notepad.exe to notepad.com and addis in a nes notepad.exe file that is the virus. Look in your windows folder, if notepad.exe is not 65Kb delete it. and then rename the file notepad.com (or notepad.bat - whichever, it will be 65Kb) as notepad.exe and you should be OK

The real one lives in c:\windows so you can delete that one.
