This morning i deleted the virus Trojan Horse Downloader . Revop.A..
I am using XP home and the virus was captured by AVG 7. I turned off System Restore deleted the files from the virus vault. The re test was clear and so turned on System Restore. Now Notepad exe has gone, any advice as to how I restore?
Thanks in advance.

Only from experience with 98SE. Notepad is part of standard windows.

So I would look at Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel.

Select Windows setup tab and make sure Notepad is ticked.
Have your installation disk ready and "Bob's your Uncle"
