Can you give a few more details about your system? OS/Processor/RAM etc.

  newgee 17:29 25 Jan 2003

ok here goes......Windows XP Professional (build 2600)..processor= 400 megahertz Intel Celeron
32 kilobyte primary memory cache
128 kilobyte secondary memory cache.
6.39 Gigabytes Usable Hard Drive Capacity
3.09 Gigabytes Hard Drive Free Space.

RAM - Top left on belarc.

Whats the exact not responding error message?

Write it down.

  powerless 17:37 25 Jan 2003

Top right for RAM.

128 Megabytes Installed Memory

Slot '0' has 128 MB
Slot '1' is Empty

and the message just says e.g windows media player is not responding then it says end now or cancel.
but my pc is running slow aswell opening programs and it just locks up when i run to many and by to many i mean abouy 3--5 programs at once it crashes but it never used to..

More memory. 128mb is about min for XP and depending what other programs/files you have open at the same time.

There may lie your problem.

The spec sounds more 98se compatable

ive had xp for about 6 months and at first it worked great but now everything is just crashing or stopping running, and freezing.

best going to click here for your memory, just select your sysytem by motherboard and they will tell exactly what you'll need.
