I have moved into a new house and it has central heating. It has a timer - Switchmaster SM805 to control when heat comes on etc...The operating instructions are lost. Does anyone know where I can download them or does someone have the same timer who could possibly tell me how it works or sell me there operating manual!!! Thanks.

See if you can find the manufacturers name and address/phone number on yuor switchmaster. Also the Model No. and serial number.
Then try Google with makers name and see if anything comes up. If not, you'll either have the phone no. or you/' have to search it out.Best of luck.

Buttons down the right give you the possible options

Usually
Water timed and heating timed for winter
water timed and heating off for summer

The dial is the clock, if power off clock stops just turn clockwise until correct time is at top of dial opposite arrow.

the tabs (on and off)allow you to set the time the boiler switches on and off they can be adjusted by pushing upwards and then sliding round the dial then push down to lock in place

ie to set boiler to come on twice daily (morning and evening, set first tab to on time (0600) set second to off time (0800) third to on time (1700 fourth to off time (2200)

There are 4 tabs - 2 blue and 2 green. Which are which for on and off?

So looking at that pic it is set to go on at 5.00am and off at 7.30am and on at 4pm and off 10pm. I push the tabs in once set and twist the dial until it clicks?
