I have trouble with Norton. I have used their uninstall patch but there is still three files left when I try to access them I get the message "cannot find NMain.exe" and also the full "help" files. I think I need to get rid of all of these before I try a re load. Any pointers?

Run Norton Removal Tool again, in Safe mode if needs be (hit F8 repeatedly at boot up, before you see the Windows logo)

What version of Norton do you have and how many days subscription is left on it?

The reason I say this there are plenty of free alternatives than Norton!

"cannot find NMain.exe" means the computer is still trying to access Norton to scan the files

Take NORTON out it's more bother than it is worth!!!!!

I use NOD32 and Zone alarm. they don't slow down the computer.
