Norton Go Back

On two occasions recently I have had to switch off my pc during startup because of a failure of a chipset fan, which I have now fixed.

However on each occasion all the history of protection on Norton Go Back was lost and in order for it to restart protection I had to uninstall it and then reinstall it.

The most difficult part of this exercise was to uninstall it. On both occasions it took around FOUR hours to uninstall.

Has anyone had similar difficulties in uninstaling Go Back.

Also are there any similar products to Go Back, as I find this much better than System Restore when it is working correctly.

I've never had anything but problems with go back. Change anything to the structure of the machine and it throws tantrams and or refuses to boot.

I now use system restore with a further back up of acronis true .
