Norton Credit Card Issues

I have read in another Forum Site that when getting rid of Norton Products it is advisable also to contact Norton/Symantec Support to tell them that you will no longer be using their product after a certain date, because if you don't they will automatically renew your subscription using your card details which they already have.
Any comments please as my subscription is due to end early in the New Year and I don't want to continue with Norton.

If, what you have read is true, or not, it raises a doubt. To be on the safe side either call them or email them telling them of your intentions. Keep a record of your dealings with them just in-case.
