Norton Antivirus Alerts during system scan

  darkster 18:44 16 Dec 2005

Hi all,
My laptop has recently started coming up with persistent Norton virus alerts during a system scan showing W32 SillyP2P and Trojans. However, upon completion, the scan shows no infected files. I have tried scanning with AVG Free as well and it too keeps detecting trojans! I have always had the latest virus definitions installed and an antispyware program protecting my computer so I thought that my level of protection was very high. I am therefore getting a bit paranoid about all these strange alerts.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Where does it find the viruses?

Try scans with a² click here and Ewido click here

Thanks for the quick replies. It finds the trojan in C:\WINDOWS\d7k43.exe and the W32.SillyP2P in the Norton Quarantine\portal\09D06D73.exe
