and norton internet security 2008,

I wouldn't personally go near Norton. Myself and members of this community would always advise to go with the "Free Software" Which does exactly the same principle of the dreaded Norton. With Norton it Slows Down your computer.

To Remove Norton 2008 Goto this link and run the tool to remove Norton 2008 from your computer:

Next Step Go Over to here: click here

Some Combinations to go with are:

1 Antivirus which can be either:

AVG Antivirus or Avast Antivirus

2. Firewalls:

Either Zone Alarm or Comodo Firewall.

I use here Avast and Comodo.

The Next you will need is some good Spyware Protection:

This is what I use:

Spyware Terminator
Spyware Blaster
Spybot Search and Distroy
Super Antispyware

This more than enough for me.

360 has a Firewall and an automatic backup with online storage backup facility. 2008 does not but they are pretty much the same.

Agree in that I'm not a Norton fan and I wouldn't choose to use their products on my own machine(s), but the 2008 versions are much less of a resource-leech than previous versions.

If your willing to buy,im using ESET Smart Security which has Anti Virus,Antispyware,Anti Spam, and a Firewall. It costs around £30.

Its one of the best security suites around, and is brilliant on resources.

as mentioned by ditch 99 360 has the backup option, i do not think there is any other extras. i use nis2008 and manage my own backup.
