NTDLL.DLL is a Windows system file click here

Try Start, run, type

sfc /scannow

Yeah I know. I reg perform an SFC ( once a month ). Have also performed one before retrying a system scan ( with no problems found in SFC ). Same `Scanner Module has encountered a problem` message with a ref to navw32 ( Norton AV ) and ntdll.dll ( Win system file ). Any other ideas ?

Further to main issue, I was going to uninstall NAV in a few weeks when Subscrip. runs out ( I prefer McAfee ). I COULD NOT uninstall even tho I inserted DELL supplied NAV2002 CD as uninstall process requested. Is there a known issue with uninstall of Norton products ? I can get no help from Symantec as they state `I have an unsupported product` ( all of 2 years old ! ).
Any help welcome.

Further, I have visited Symantec site. Inability to uninstall must be a common issue ( as VoG states ). Symantec have a d/loadable utility to uninstall NAV2001 , 2002, 2003. D/loaded and ran successfully. Have replaced this P.O.C**P with McAfee which, in my humble, is far superior ( used it on my Laptop prev 2 yrs ) to Norton AV. As an aside McAfee caught a Trojan and several PUP`s after initial install scan.
Ta VoG for any comments.
