I have got a mikomi 6219 camera bought from Argos a couple of weeks ago and I am getting a noise on during the time camera is on and I have trouble with the sound

Noise from Camera or Noise on the picture's it takes. is this a video???????

  sooteygilbo 16:43 14 Mar 2007

Noise is an inevitable byproduct of a cheap camera and trying to shoot in dark conditions. I don't know anything about that particular camera, but could either of those apply?

  sooteygilbo 16:50 14 Mar 2007

No, my mate has a similar camera and his is superb

  sooteygilbo 16:51 14 Mar 2007

Mine cost £25.00 in all

  woodchip 18:37 14 Mar 2007

If you get Video for £25 then you are not going to get much more

  hzhzhzhz 19:10 14 Mar 2007

oh, I see, its a webcam.

  woodchip 19:26 14 Mar 2007

Now we are getting there, Noise must be what it is picking up. So you may have to move the camera. Not stand it on top of the tower, or monitor. keep it away from other electrical equipment. And see how it goes

If woodchip`s suggestion does not help; take it back to Argos for a refund ASAP.

Consider getting a much better camera, the Logitech, Quickcam Communicate STX PLUS.

This was given "best buy" by a well known UK computer magazine. It won`t cost much more; £30.66, including p/p from Amazon.
