No Video after PSU failure

Hi I caught the power cable on my PC and it pulled the connector out just enough to cause a few moments of arcing. This destroyed the PSU which I have now replaced, but I now get no Video when booting. The system comes up OK otherwise as I can connect through my network. I have not had any real experience with the internals of PCs before (but am pretty good at making circuit boards etc). I assume the video is part of the the big CPU 'bundle' rather than part of the motherboard - or could be both? The m/b is an old B865GBF and I have d/l the Intel docs for this.

Anyone had experience with this type of problem and perhaps give me a suggestion or two?

Ta, Andy.

Depending on the make and model of your PC you may have a separate graphics card.

Some graphics cards need a power plug from the PSU as you have changed PSU have you powered the graphics card?
