I have just got a Philips PSC805 Aurilium USB External 5.1 Sound Card as my computer has no sound card. I have installed it but am still getting no sound. My computer is old Compaq and I am using a Packard Bell monitor that has speakers which have a joint green jack plug which I have connected. I have a pink jack connected to the plug for the monitor but don't know where to connect it. I also don't know what the blue and orange jack sockets are for. Please help.

You need self powered speakers for this set up.
Suggest a pair of 2.1 powered, although this gadget can connect 5.1 speakers. There is a .pdf manual available from the phillips site. you have to install the drivers as well.

HC00H - don't need any new speakers. I found the Philips manual a great help - working ok now. Thanks.
