My speakers have stopped working. There is no sound via Windows Media player etc.
I have tried the speakers on another computer and they work fine?
How do i find out if either my sound card is faulty, or the Media player is faulty?

You have load of sounds within Windows. Control panel/sounds and audio/sounds. you can browse and play them. (or not)

this may eliminate media player.
Have a look in device manager for an exclaimation mark against your sound card, you may only need to update drivers..
