No permission to modify

I have a problem with Invalid Register File Types when I do a registry clean.

It tells me I have 15 Registry errors .
It also tells me to leave the entries unchanged(No permission to modify)

I am unable to delelete them in the registry even though they are classed as being of no use.How do I get permission to modify as this could only be an administtrator problem or is it a Microsoft problem?

Safe mode? log on as Administrator? What are you using to do a registry clean?

Terryf Thank You.
I am actually logging on in my own name, how do I log on as administrator.

I am using AMust reg cleaner & Regheal which both show these 15 Invalid Register File Types & will not allow me to modify.

Another reg cleaner Reg Mechanic does not show them.

I tell Regheal & Amust to ignore them which they do but I would still like to delelete them

Personally, I would leave them well alone. There is probably a very good reason why you can't delete them.
