No internet connection

I bought a BT Voyager 210 (unlocked) to use with my AOL ADSL line. I've set everything up in the following way
* internet connection settings- never dial a connection and empty Lan settings.
*connect DSL line
*turn on power
*install USB drivers
*Connect USB
*Wait 10mins then try to sing on with ISP... This is where the problem is. It says there's no internet connection so I can't sign in. I got it working the other day, I think by luck, but the connection was 100kbps. So i reset it, and can't get it to work now.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thankyou.

Try altering username to [email protected]_domain, no p/word needed, does this connect ? This merely confirms B/band is working on your line from exchange to you, (you can/t surf via this log on.

Whatever you do, don`t call AOL`s help and support unless you have four hours to spare!

I got it working now. I think it was luck. Just followed the instructions and waited 5mins instead of 10. But now my router won't work with it, which is another story for another board ;) Thanks for the advice!
