No intel(R) adapters are present

I wiped my PC with DBAN and after re installing windows 7 premium, i tried to connect to the internet. It said that "Windows didn't detect a properly installed network adapter. If you have a network adapter, you will need to re-install the driver.'

After downloading a network adapter driver and running it, it said that No intel(r) adapters are present in the computer.

In system information under problem devices it says '

Ethernet Controller PCI\VEN10EC&DEV8168&SUBSYSE0001458&REV06\4&14E2715C&0&00E4 The drivers for this device are not installed.

PCI Simple Communications Controller PCI\VEN8086&DEV1C3A&SUBSYS1C3A1458&REV04\3&11583659&0&B0 The drivers for this device are not installed.

SM Bus Controller PCI\VEN8086&DEV1C22&SUBSYS50011458&REV04\3&11583659&0&FB The drivers for this device are not installed.

What can I do to connect to the internet??

Thanks in advance :)

First: are you certain a) that your LAN adapter/controller is an Intel one, and b) that you have the right driver? I think '10EC' means it's a Realtek adapter... The other two devices are, I think, Intel devices (8086). If you can find out the make/model of your mother board that would help.
