No display on Monitor (Stays in Stand-by Mode)

On my other PC the when it is started up no display appears on monitor. It stays in Stand-By Mode so it would appear that no signal is getting there or being received correctly. Have tried PC on 2 working monitors and no joy. Have also tried changing AGP Graphics card and still no joy. I now think this is a MB fault but before I rush out and buy one I am asking your advice and opinions.

Lights on PC seem to power up as normal.

Do you have on board graphics? If so, go into bios and switch to that.

Or have a look in the bios and see what is there. Also make sure that the graphics cards are fully seated.

Mobo does not have 'On Board' Graphics and as no monitors work with it I cannot check BIOS settings.

I had the same problem not even POST MB, had past away.

Are you not getting any bios beeps? Could be a failed graphics card but if so I would expect some
bios beeps at boot up. Also check the pins on the SVA D-dub plug. A slightly bent pin can prevent the
output to the monitor.

That should be the SVGA plug.
