No disc but licence

I have an Intel machine supplied by Dixons with Win XP Home edition already loaded and a sticker for the licence number. How can I obtain the disc as this is not suppled by them. I also have a compaq laptop supplied by the same company but with Windows ME and the same set up

is there not a restore disk if there is thats have to restore the whole a rule you haveto pay extra for a proper windows disk.darren

setup files will normally be stored on c:\windows\options\cabs

just for your info that is...

but normally they don't supply the files on disk as it's cheaper that way (for them anyway)

Many thanks thought that might be the case. When my computer crashed it said to install set up disc and press 'r', but having no disc I had to do full restore
