"no disc in drive"error message with ad-aware6

I have recently re-installed the latest free
version of ad aware6.This worked well first couple of times but now I get error message"no disc in drive,please insert disk into drive D"
I have to repeatedly click continue or close the dialogue box every time it appears(about 6 times every scan)before it successfuly completes the scan.
has anyone else had this problem

In ad-aware clock Start to open the Preparing System Scan window.

Tick Select drives\folders to scan then click Select. Untick Drive D.

I'm assuming D is a CD or DVD drive.

open adaware and click the scan now button on the left handside panel

now in select scan mode, have you got custom scanning options or select drives/folders

as if you may ahve a setting in there to scan drive D:\ which is probabaly the case

can just untick the box with scan d drive or choose perform smart scan

Do you have a card reader or other removable drive? I had a similar problem with ZoneAlarm and HP Share to Web software which was attributed to my card reader.

The solution was to uninstall/reinstall.

have re-installed,ran it before updating it and it was fine.After updating problem started again,could it be a dodgy update?
I now have to put a disc in to use it.
Has this happened to anyone else?

Adaware has been doing this on full system scan on my pc--Or at least it was until the last couple of updates.Now works fine again.
Have you got the very latest updates?
