Usually something simple like not attached properly, missed a pin etc, is it a new case or did you reuse old?

new build all new, swopped plug round made sure

I notice that the speaker header has Vcc, Gnd and signal. I think the speaker should be connected between Vcc and Signal. The polarity isn't important.

yes my friend
user guide infront of me now i quote
pin 1 vcc
pin 2 key
pin 3 gnd
pin 4 signal

m board spki has 3 pins
spk1 lead from tower 2 pins at both ends
trying to give as much tech as poss but help

Hi wis. You might well have to apply a biy of surgery to the connector so that you can connect to Vcc and signal - pins 3 and 4. The configuration of the circuit that drives the speaker is simply a switch that grounds the speaker at the beep frequency, so the other end of the speaker needs to connect to Vcc.

Must concentrate better. I meant to say a bit of surgery to the connector so you can connect to pins 1 and 4 of the header.

yes i see where your comming from
but pins 3/4 are gnd signal as guide
hence why im flustated my prev ,connecter is
wired on end pins vcc signal get it wrong turn
it round, will work but no, as you say no prob
to split this connecter, you think go pin 3/4
will be good ill try

please confirm
