Is the newer PC2-5300 667Mhz the

equivalent for the older PC2100 ? or is it better more like PC2700 or PC3200

As I remember PC2100 was not that fast and pretty slow compared to the PC2700.

What I am trying to avoid in this M2V socket AMD system build is buying the weak memory, carn't really got for the 800MHz but this PC5300 667MHz is just about ok for my pocket.

Your advice would be greatfully appreciated Please.

It's definitely better than PC2100/2700/3200, which run at 266/333/400 Mhz respectively.

Compare that to the PC2-5300's 667Mhz - & it's DDR2 (click here), compared to just DDR for the others. G
