whne running windows defender on my computer these adware titles keep appearing and i have to delete them all the time. every day they reappear and do not show up on the hard drive or in add/remove programs. how can i get rid of them or stop them appearing please. i run norton antivirus and windows xp

It may be they are in your restore files,so deleting those might stop them comming back once they are deleted.

fully update them and run them and see what they can find

of interest, try not to click on the ads but close them if you can via task manager; you will only be 'activating' and helping the nasty to continue to spead itself by clicking on them

Right click on 'my computer' properties/system restore, and tick the box to turn it off, remember to untick the box after you have finished scanning.
