i keep trying live update but there hasn't been an update for nearly 2 weeks. is this a problem for me?

i downloaded this virus btw fewdays ago :(( got fooled coz the e mail id was [email protected] or something like that.

did a system restore and it seems to be ok. tried a windows search for the files and came up with zero but i think its in the system restore files. coz i found the files but with a .pf extension (??)
