This could give plenty of people a real problem, so extra vigilance is called for. Make sure your anti-virus software isd up to date, and don't open any email from unfamiliar sources.

that there was already a thread running on this threat - my apologies to all concerned.

It doesn't hurt to have two reminders, so I'll leave this one running.

I was wondering why Norton decided to update itself today rather than on Wednesday.

Who are these people that create viruses??
My missus reckons it's the anti-virus companies.......conspiracy theory?? hmmmmmmmmmmm

Your missus ain't the first to think that! Especially as the A/V companies are normally so quick in coming up with a cure.

I also wondered why Norton had virus definition updates available yesterday. Another good reason to have Mailwasher as well, which shows what e-mails, and from whom, are waiting to be downloaded.

It never hurts to have this type of warning from more than one scource.

Even more virus definition updates from Norton this morning - that's two days in a row now.

This thread is now locked and can not be replied to.
