New Virus Hoax

Just had a panic email from a friend who has received a "round robin" type email. Something like this:

A new virus has just been discovered that has been classified by Microsoft as the most destructive ever. This virus was discovered yesterday afternoon by McAfee and no vaccine has yet been developed. This virus simply destroys Sector Zero from the hard disk, where vital information for its functioning are stored.

This virus acts in the following manner:
It sends itself automatically to all contacts on your list with the title:
"A Card for You"."

Plus lots more.

Having checked with CNN and Symantec it is a Hoax.

Just delete it.

I suppose if it was real I would have received a "Virtual Card for You" as I am on my friends address list anyway. Of course I haven't received one.

Another one I have missed which should really be ticked.

My New Year Resolution is to go through all My Postings and tick those that have been resolved or are no longer relevant.

Will tick this one now.
