A new toolbar has been created with an automatic download probably from Microsoft. This bar is blue and it appears vertically on the left side of Control Panel and also in Favorites. To me its very annoying and taking a lot of space in my Display area. I would like to know how to get rid of it as I tried everything I can think of.

If blue bar is the commoin task bar go to tools > folder options > general tyac, click in use windows classic folders and blue bar should disappear

Do you mean instead of the list of folders, or is there literally nothing the usually?

Hi, open My Documents, then go to Tools>Folder Options> then under Task - Use Windows Classic.

Cheers.
