New Processor will Win 2000 SP4 require reinstall

I wonder if anyone can help, I am about to upgrade from my current AMD 1900+ Processor to a AMD 3200+ Processor. Yes the MB can handle it.
My question is will I have to re-install the Operating System which is Win 2000 with SP4?

If so is there anyway of keeping the SP's without having to download and reinstall again?

as long as the bios detects the new chip speed, no changes required.

remind. It should load fine. Just pop into the bios to check the clock speed after you fit the chip.;-)

No, once the new CPU is properly installed W2K should run a shade faster.

SP are surely easier dowloaded as they appear? You wont need to disturb things unless you re-install W2K.
