A Zenithink ZT-280 C91
On the box it lists 5 hours battery life.
However after of say an our so so of use in total - ten minutes here and ten minutes there a warning comes up saying 14% battery remaining - connect charger
However the battery state bar gives 3.5 hours remaining.
So ignoring the 14% warning - continued to use until total shut down
Put it on charge and the State bar still shows the previous 3.5 hours of life.
So is this an indicator of a duff battery or some other internal problem?
No personal experience of the Zenithink, but you should be aware that most modern electronic devices are never really "off" -- when you switch them off they're actually on standby, waiting for something to happen such as a software update via wi-fi. Even if wi-fi and all other functions are "off", they're still waiting for the signal that says you've pressed the "on" button.
Over what period was your "ten minutes here and ten minutes there"? If it was spread over several days the heavy usage could be explained by the power used during standby time.
