A mate of mine is planning to connect his Win2000 machine with his old Win98SE one. I will properly have to spend a couple of hours on the phone with him to talk him through The procedure
As I have only set up a Win98 To Win98 and a Win200 to a win 98 machine Which already had Internet connection sharing. My question is? How can he make a client disk as you do in Win98, As Win 2000 doesn’t require you to make one? Will he have to install ICS on to the 98 machines and use the client disk on the 2000 machine? Or will Windows2000 set it up itself.
Any advise will save me some time at the weekend
