Thanks. I didn't know what criteria there was for such a monitor. I want in order to enjoy FS2004 better. How do web pages appear at the optimum resolution of 1920 x 1080? Would I have to drag the sides in for them to be in perspective? Rather than adjusting the resolution.
It appears Currys have the wrong specs for that monitor? And it's ~£15 cheaper at click here.

You won't have to make any adjustments, but some sites may look better than others in Full HD resolution - it mostly depends on how each site is coded. You can of course use a smaller browser window if you wish.
"ATI Radeon HD 4800 (NoDB whatever that means)" - btw, that's a fairly good graphics card, even capable of playing most 3D games at decent settings. G
Crossbow7 I noticed a huge fps increase in fs9 when I upgraded the PC last year. Couldn't believe what I had been missing.! You mention HD, but the monitor doesn't have an HDMI socket and I can't see one on the rear of PC. Anyway it will be another great improvement on this old 19" LCD. Thanks for link. I am going to Currys in Bluewater tomorrow ( only 15 mins away) to see if they have it. Very tempting the lower price, but B/Water is handy for taking things back! Is it still 3 missing pixels that are allowed or are those days gone?
