new desk-top, which one to buy?

Hi

Ready to buy a new desk-top as work has expanded and current desktop can't cope.

Main uses are digital photo editing, storage and a bit of design and publishing plus standard word processing and spreadsheets.

Volume of digital images soon ties up hard drive and everything slows down.

On a budget but would spend extra to not be in same position in 12 months.

Any help appreciated.

On the assumption that you are happy with your existing speakers & screen why not have a look at offerings from Novatech. To get the best options you are probably looking at spending £500 - £750.
Also as you have a lot of digital images it might be worth considering an external HDD to give yourself additional storage.

If you are happy with them, retain your current monitor, keyboard etc, and go for a box only soloution. Novatech, as stylehurst say's are have a good reputation, and are very popular amongst members here.

Many thanks stylehurst and crosstrainer

I'd not heard of novatech, but having had a look at their site I'm sure I'll get fixed up - its good to know which companies are good when you're a bit green like me.
