I am going to commence to set-up a brand new computer. How do I tranfer the BB connection to the new computer, so that I can continue to have BB provision.

Appologies to what may seem a straight forward procedure, but I have been racking my brain all morning :o(

Connect the modem and load the software if any, then set up your email account as normal.

If I am understanding the question correctly.

On the new comp.:

Start/All Progs./Accessories/communications/New Connection Wizard:

Connect to the internet Next

Set up my connection manually Next

From here on copy the settings in your old machine.

Sorry again if I have misunderstood the question.

Thanks guys for the quick responses.

2nd question: What if I want to connect new computer via network cards or router to active BB from 1st computer. Is it just a case of connecting the parts and letting the connection sort itself out!.

Do not possess previous BB installation software.

If you have a router like netgear dg834 it will automatically set it self up when you connect it to your PC and telephone socket. I have router and 2 pc's. When I migrated to another ISP, the router set itself up.
