Hi
I am looking to buy a new computer to replace my Evesham at long last.

After reading the bad publicity regards their situation, I don't want to go to them again. I found Customer service was bad enough before that.

Have been looking at this company: click here

Has anyone come across them and if so can you tell me anything about them ie quality, reliability, customer service and support quality, Company reliability etc.

They seem to good to be true!!

Are there any other suppliers that I should look at as well?

Regards

They seem to good to be true!!

then it probably is.

The large manufacures can obtain parts far cheaper than anyone else so thats probably the way to go.

The best "bought" PC (rather than built myself) I have come across is MEDION.

Have a look at Novatech, they produce good reliable machines, & are always reported on with favour by users of this site.

Evesham is in the process of going into administration and as such entering a time of turmoil.

However, their customer service is still operating as normal, as I found out yesterday. I therefore have to disagree with your statement: 'I found Customer service was bad enough before that.'

Regarding a new computer. Tescos Medion 6486 desktop PC is an amazing deal click here
PC specialist have received a mixed review. Use this forum to research into this company.

I bought a computer from click here a few months ago and very pleased with the service I received from them.

Yes, and if you read through threads containing evesham, most of the experience were positive indeed.

However, this has changed during the last few weeks.

Evesham is in a period of transition and is IMHO for the time being not able to provide customer service and/or deliver systems in time.

I just tried to get in touch with their technical dude-crew to confirm a visit from an engineer on Thursday and the line seems to be down. I haven't received a reply per e-mail either.

To sum up. I can speak highly of evesham of the past, but for now, I would not purchasing from the remains called eveham.

This thread is now locked and can not be replied to.
