Hi skaria. I'm a bit confused as to what kind of drive you're looking for. If you wany a drive that plays cd and dvd, then I'm quite happy with my LG drive click here.
This one is an OEM package, which simply means that you won't get any screws, cables or software, but as you're replacing a failed drive, you shouldn't need any. The retail package is this one click here.

A black CD-RW Combo drive click here,

or if you also want to write to DVD, click here or click here or the NEC one click here.

When looking at the Ebuyer site, the customer reviews are a useful guide, keeping in mind the fact that a customer with a complaint is much more likely to write a note than the customer who is happy with the goods. The reviews are genuine, I have written both complimentary and critical reviews and they have all been published.
