Networking with Vista and XP Os.

I have two computers , one OS Vista and one OS XP. Each has a voyager 1055 adaptor to wirelessly use the BT HomeHub and both are independently able to access the ‘net.

What I would like to do (but have had no success to date) is to make one computer ‘see’ the other ( Vista to see XP) so that I can copy files across. But how is this done?

Established the connection I needed - thanks to your help. Did have trouble with Zonealarm on the XP Machine - it reported that someone was trying to access the machine and was preventing it from doing so. Clicked on trace and it 'found' someone in the Darwin area of Australia! Then went on to try selling me the Pro version - no way, Jose! Uninstalled Zonealarm and installed Commodo instead - voila! It was the Vista machine that had caused the kerfuffle with Zonealarm. Darwin? I don't think so.

Thanks again.
