You will have to describe your network and the O/S on each machine

the network contains:
4 pc's windows 2000
1pc xppro/lindows
1pc win 98
and the network is working fine its just the broadband connection

Beat me to the question

  Tree3 19:24 01 Apr 2004

yes i do have a router /ethernet switch between the computers

The broadband modem should be connected to the router and then each PC runs then runs from a seperate port from the router - is that how you have it set up?

When You set up did you use the floppy created when setting up the server to use on all the other pc's on the network.

This is needed especially for the win98 PC
