Which version of Windows are you using?

What network protocols are you using?

Are you using a specific network program for file / printer sharing?

Is the 880c connected via parallel or USB?

Is the network peer-to-peer, or do you have a server?

You may want to verify with the documentation that the 880 is supposed to support networking. I have been able to get some hp printers that were not supposed to be networkable to work over the network, but it doesn't always work. The easiest way to get deskjets to work on a network is to get a jetdirect print server. It is a small device that you can plug multiple printers (depending on which one you buy) and connect them directly to the network without a system.

Check the port settings and IP address for the printer jcb33. Install printer locally then share it.
