I have a desktop and laptop running xp. They are on a home wired network and I access the internet via broadband on the desktop. I wish to access the internet from the laptop but am not sure how to set it up
you will need a wireless router, and a usb adapter if the laptop is not wirelessly enabled. The phone line will connect into the wireless modem/router and the desktop can be wired into the back of the router. The laptop can then work wirelessly with the router.
If the laptop is wired to the desktop, the desktop should be able to share the braodband to the laptop via the wired network.
