Network connection

I have a LInksys router contacted via my desktop so I can use my laptop wirelessly. The problem is that I went in to change the channel number on the linksys router setting via my laptop and now my laptop can't pick up any internet connection because obviously the channel number I selected doesn't work. I have tried going into the Linksys settings on my desktop computer thinking I could change the channel number through there but it opens up the linksys page but not my settings. It was working all correctly before so I no it's just the incorrect channel number [email protected] selected. How can I change it back.

Open your web browser and type in the router's IP address - which is 192.168.1.1 - and you will prompted for your Username & Password. Leave the Username blank and the Password is "admin" unless you have changed it from the default. In the wireless settings you can change the Channel number.
