If you have an old Dialup modem installed, this is what you possible see " network cable unplugged "

Check in Control panel and network connections and disable that connection.

I have been on bb about 4 month,s, the modem was sent to me by virgin as a starter kit, it installed under
dialup, is this right?.
I dont understand why it,s under dialup when i'm supposed to be on bb.

Unless you use a router, the bb modem will still need to dial your isp to connect.

Have a look in Network connections,i reckon you will see your old Dialup connection and if not needed...can be deleted.

You are probably using the USB connection for your BB. You should be fine, if you are in any doubt about whether you are on BB or not try a speed test it will tell you how fast your connection is. this one is good but sometimes busy. click here

you should be able to right click or double click this icon for the network cable unplugged message and either delete or disable it....very simple to do yet not really needed unless its annoying you.
