Network 2 home pc's

Sorry if this has been asked before, - got 2 pc's both XP pro, 1 has network card to my telewest broadband, the other has 2 network cards and i want to be able to use them both at same time , sharing broadband, is there an idiots guide to this anywhere ??

If your pcs are close enough together, the cheapest and best way will be to connect them by ethernet cable.

You can either plug your broadband modem into the pc with 2 network cards and use the 2nd network card to connect the 2 pcs, or you could move one of the network cards to the pc already connected to the modem.

All you then need is a cross-over ethernet cable to connect the 2 pcs and run the Network Wizard on the one connected to the internet.

I also found the Amazon guide quite good for basic info
