Ok I have netmeter installed on my system click here, I am the main user of my pc and have setup a guest account for when friend / family come to visit and would like to access the net.

The problem is this I would my guest account to be a limited account but when I do this netmeter cannot write to its logfile as this is in the program files folder and a limited account does not have the rights to access this file hence an error message.

Can anyone think of a workaround other that setting the account as an adminstrator?

O/S is xp home sp2

Cheers all

I don't know much about XP, but can you sign in as administrator and set set individual permission for each user to read/write to that folder/file? There might be something if you right mouse click and have a look in properties.
