Quick query for Those Who Know (because I don't, sadly.)I'm trying to install Uniblue's generally acclaimed 'speed booster' app. Its installer says the app needs the latest Microsoft .NET 3.5, and it has detected this version isn't on my PC. So it attempts to install it but then fails. The only .NET 'thing' on my system is Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0, Service Pack 1, all 186.46MB of it, installed in May, 2008.Visiting Microsoft's .NET website there seem to be pages of stuff about possible install problems of this software.Question: is the .NET 3.5 a 'stand alone' comprising everything from previous versions? If so, is it safe / sensible for me to Revo my existing .NET 2.0 and then install .NET 3.5?Thanks for any advice. (And I'm still lost, as an average home user, as to what this .NET thing actually does. I don't even go fishing.)
