hi, i have found a netgear WGR614 wireless router for £65 brand new from ebuyer, does any one on here use this router and would they recommend it? am i right in thinking i will need the RJ14 cable to connect it to my modem? it is a motorolla SB4100, also a netgear WG311 pci card or a WG511T? any help will be much appreciated

What's a RJ14 cable? I thought you could connect the modem to a router with a standard RJ45 cable

sorry maybe it is, i thought it was RJ14?

RJ11 & RJ14 are for connecting dial-up modems, for cable modems you use network cables, RJ45 ;-)

oh ok, cheers. Do you have anything to say on the router/cards? ta

anyone else got anything to say?

I would get that router and some of those cards if I could afford it ;-)

The 311 PCI cards are to go inside a desktop PC, the 511 cards are PCMCIA cards to go in laptops, with both of these the T on the end is to show it is 108 Mb/sec

You wouldn't need a T card as that router is only 54 Mb/sec
