.Net Framework, various copies on PC. can I delete

think versions 1.5 - 2, 3.5 & 4 at moment on PC can I delete the earlier ones and just keep 4 - or do they all need to e kept ??

Newer version do not necessarily replace older ones. If you have a program that needs an older version in order to run, then you should
keep it.

Even if you don't have such a program now, you may have one tomorrow.
Recommend that you keep all the .net framework files.

ATI - is there a check program that will let me know what is dependant on it ?

As Fruit Bat /\0/\ says, you should keep them. Having said that, I think .Net 1.0 can be eliminated in Windows7. Worth checking.

If it ain't broke, dont fix it. I would keep them.
