A friend is using nero and is trying to do compilation cd's , but when he replays these there is interference on the disk.If he records a full album this does not happen.

Burn the disc at a lower speed.

I use NERO and burn audio at no more than 10 - 12 times.

If he is then that will cause problems. to make a compilation you are best to copy all the desired tracks to the HDD then burn in one go.

click on recorder, click on save track, and copy each track to a folder that you have created on the Hdd. once all tracks are gathered together burn the lot in one go to the cd. works every time at any speed for me, never made a coaster yet.

Cheers Lixdexik.

I've not had any problems making CD compilations with Nero - it is easier, however, using Nero Express.

I have had such problems and it turned out to be the read speed was to fast to acurately read the cd's. this can be changed in nero. This mainly happens on older dvd drives which are not able to read audio cd's at more than 2x.
