Hi, Please please can someone help. I am a complete comp novice and just bought a pc purely for burning dvds. I have downloaded nero to do this but when i go to add files, its almost as if the files are no longer on the computer - Anyone got any ideas? I have now been sat here for 4 hours trying to get it to work and i think im gonna go crazy!!!!!!

where do you have them stored?

when you say DvD i assume you mean films rather than music..
are the files avi, if they are, they are not video files.
You firstly need to convert the avi file to DVD format before you can burn it.
Try Nero Vision Express first.

What version of Nero are you using?

I have many video files on my PC (including avi files which are video files), and I use Nero Vision Express 3 to "Add Video Files" and then follow the prompts and burn to DVD.

You need to have at least Nero version 6 and preferably and Nero Vision

open the folder containing the files you want to burn and just drag them into nero and see if that works.

The trial nero 8 does not have Nero Vision Express with it.

You would be better off getting something like this:

or this one:

both from ebay.
