Nero 7 Bloated

  Paul F 20:52 24 Jan 2007

I've been looking for a basic Disc burning program to use with Vista. I had a look at Nero 7 (190MB download!) and couldn't believe the amount of 'stuff' (for want of a ruder word!) that is included with it.
I was hoping there would be a lite version as I don't want the video editor, sound editor or photo editor thingy etc. etc., just a simple, basic burning program!
Does anyone know of one that I can use with Vista?

Paul F I'm not interested in Vista yet so know little about it. Does it not have its own burning program built in?

Nero can be downloaded at:

You just might have to download a version in between to be able to go on to the latest version - these are included on the FileHippo website.

Crossbow7's ComuterActive link expired in December 2006.

My understanding is that Vista's built-in burning program will also burn to DVDs.

click here don't let the name fool you it does do DVD's, I have this and Nero 7 Premium and tend to use this more.

Snec, if you click on 'Download Now' you'll see that it can still be downloaded. Perhaps I should've mentioned this in my post. G

Crossbow7, yes but the serial/key number will not work. With these ComputerActive downloads they are only valid for two weeks from the original date.
