Need for Speed Demo

Want to unistall a demo of the game, but it says a .dll is missing.

Good idea to just delete the folder its in or not?

It often helps to install it again and then run the uninstall procedure.

try reinstalling to the same location and then uninstall.

If you just delete the folder there will be "orphaned" dlls and registry keys left on your hard drive.

Yeah but I downloaded the Demo installed and then deleted the download.

My broadband ain't that hot(live overseas) and dont want to spend ages downloading just to unistall the program

Will cccleaner get rid of the rubbish left?

You can manually delete it then run ccleaner registry (issue) cleaner; it's not ideal but will be a start.

Nice one; I have exactly the same problem. Son installed the demo, liked it so much he bought the game for the Xbox, now I can't uninstall the demo.

Was going to leave it till I next format and reinstall Windows, but now I'll be able to reclaim my disk space.
